Our complete chassis restoration includes: a full body off chassis strip down, shot blasting of the chassis and wishbones, chassis then re-tubed by RT Racing, mounting plates replaced, chassis alignment check and then shot blasting once again before re-powdercoating is completed. Outrigger Replacement...

At RT Racing the controversial subject of outrigger replacement is dealt with in one way only; we lift the body. Years of chassis fabrication experience has taught us that if you want to do a safe, professional and thorough job this is the only course of action. It not only allows us to fully weld the outriggers on and jig

them correctly, it also allows us to inspect the rest of the chassis, give it a clean down and rust proof and paint as required. The correct fitting of your outriggers is very important. These outriggers are not just there to attach and support the body shell, they also are needed to stop the chassis from racking and to reduce flexing during driving. Furthermore they give you side impact protection and in many cases provide the outermost seat belt anchor point.
